PATHOLOGY DATA

  
Location: Thyroid.  
   
Gross findings:

Tumor size 3 cm.

Cut section firm and white, well circumscribed.
   
Microscopic findings: Tissue sections show as normal structure of thyroid glands, lined by epithelial cells with coarse, irregular nuclei and papillary structure. The stroma is congestive and infiltrated by numerous lymphocytes, neutrophils, plasma cells, and eosinophils. The lymph nodes show metastasis (4/8).
