Gross findings: | Tumor size 3 cm. Cut section firm and hemorrhagic, well circumscribed. |

Microscopic findings: | Tumor is characterized by proliferation of epithelial cells arranged in groups and separated by thin fibrosis with basophilic, irregular nuclei. Nuclear chromatin is coarse with prominent nucleoli. Tumor cells invade the stroma which is infiltrated by a small number of mononuclear inflammatory cells. The lymph nodes show metastasis (6/9). |
