PATHOLOGY DATA

  
Location: Thyroid.  
   
Gross findings:

Tumor size 5 cm, well circumscribed.

Cut section firm, white.
   
Microscopic findings: Tissue sections show as normal structure of thyroid glands, lined by epithelial cells with coarse, irregular nuclei and papillary structure. The stroma is congestive and infiltrated by numerous lymphocytes, neutrophils, plasma cells, and eosinophils. The lymph nodes show metastasis (2/6).
