Microscopic findings: | Tumor is composed of a cyst with fibrous-vascular connective tissue wall. The lining cells have basophilic, irregular nuclei and abundant cytoplasm. Nuclear chromatin is coarse with prominent nucleoli. Mitoses are evident. The tumor cells form papillary structures or clusters, invading the capsule. The stroma show manycongestive blood vessels and inflammatory cell reactions including lymphocytes and histocytes. |
