Microscopic findings: | The tumor is composed of proliferation of malignant epithelial cells. The epithelial cells grown in the enlarged ducts contained comedo-necroses. The tumor cells have irregular, basophilic nuclei and abundant cytoplasm. Nuclear chromatin is coarse with prominent nuclei. Mitotic figures are evident. Stromal invasions are not seen. The stroma is desmoplastic and infiltrated by numerous chronic inflammatory cells. The lymph nodes show hyperplaqsia (0/10). | ||||||||||||||||||||||
