Microscopic findings: | The tumor is composed of proliferation of malignant epithelial cells. The epithelial cells grown in the enlarged ducts contained comedo-necroses. The tumor cells have irregular, basophilic nuclei and abundant cytoplasm. Nuclear chromatin is coarse with prominent nuclei. Mitotic figures are abundant. Some areas show micro-invasions. The stroma is infiltrated by numerous inflammatory cells. The lymph nodes show metastasis (6/10). |
